Better Regulation Policy (PDF 2.1 MB)The paper develops an analytical framework for better regulation policy and applies this framework in a cross-national comparison. It provides a broad view on what is specific of better regulation as a "meta-policy", what challenges are linked to these characteristics and how different countries approach these challenges. It thereby moves the analysis of better regulation beyond assessing the application of individual tools. An English version is in preparation.
